I like to spin a yarn. BUT... in this case I want to keep things short and sweet because I think everything that needs to be said is in the videos I've recorded.

Let me start off by saying that we all went what's best for our children. I have two and will do whatever I can to support their happiness, welfare, and growth.

So we're all on the same page.? Great!

When it comes to sport, there's that fine line of A) are we pushing to hard? And B) are we not pushing enough? Finding that balance is tricky because you want your child to feel like they have the freedom to express themselves without feeling suffocated by the burden of expectation. We've all experienced those silent drive homes in the car because you feel like you've wasted your time and they feel like you're putting too much pressure on them (I intend to make a video on this in the future).

As far as these videos go, I've created them to:

  1. give you advice on how you can support the goals of your child while supporting the ethos of the gym they attend

  2. explain why drills and circuits are so important, as opposed to just performing a skill

  3. educate you on the tumble levelling system and how they are scaffolded for safe progression

  4. support home training WITHOUT creating obstacles to progression.

With that all being said, I hope you find them useful. If you have any questions, feel free to drop an email to beardrylls@gmail.com.
